The Furuno DFF3 is built for the serious offshore fisherman or for someone looking for structures such as wrecks. When you have your course plotted with any TZTouch2, NavNet1, NavNetvx2, or NavNet3D system, the DFF3 will provide you detailed echoes from bottom structures as you travel at depths up to 10,000 feet. Select the proper power output whether it be 1kW, 2kW, or 3kw and select the best operating frequency of 28kHz to 200kHz and your ready to go. Offering different frequencies and power outputs allows you to select your best set up for your fishing or cruising.
Furuno is continually improving their devices to support new features through software updates. Update your DFF1UHD to the latest software version through a free download from Furuno's website and take advantage of Post Processing Gain Control. When used in conjunction with a TZTouch2 MFD, Post Processing Gain Control will allow you to adjust the gain for previously received echo targets. This allows users to instantly see how gain adjustments will impact target returns already visible on screen.
Connecting the DFF3 to a TZTouch or NavNet compatible system is easy to do and doesn’t require any kind of software update to do so. Simple plug & play operation & easy installation makes the DFF3 a top notch add on at an affordable price.
