The Garmin Instinct 2 Surf Edition is a rugged GPS watch equipped with surf and water specific features! The Instinct 2 Mavericks has a larger 45MM case size, great for larger wrists, or those who simply prefer a larger watch case. The Instinct 2 fits a wrist circumference of 135-230mm.

The Instinct's rechargeable internal lithium-ion battery can last up to 21 days in a smartwatch mode (up to 50 days in a battery save mode) which is great for everyday use as well as a battery life of up to 22 hours while in a GPS mode while you’re out taking on the world. For extended use, utilize the Expedition GPS activity mode and your battery life can span up to 25 days. Built with a 3-axis compass, barometric altimeter, and a multi global navigational satellite system (GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo), your Instinct 2s can navigate with ease virtually anywhere you roam.

Pair your Instinct 2 with your compatible smartphone to stay up to date on ocean conditions. Record the number of waves surfed, maximum speed and more by selecting the surf activity profile before paddling out. Pair your watch with Surfline through Garmin Connect and get even more surf and wave information. The Instinct surf edition watches also provide windsurfing and kiteboarding activity profiles! The Garmin Instinct 2 is water rated up to 100 meters and is thermal and shock resistant with a fiber reinforced polymer case giving you the ability to take on the most extreme of adventures while having the piece of mind that your Instinct 2s will keep up! Built-in sports apps include more than just surf apps, apps for running, biking, swimming, strength training plus VO2 Max and other training features will keep you connected to all the training features you need to keep active.

All day health monitoring features include heart rate tracking, advanced sleep monitoring, VO2 Max indicators, Pulse Ox, and respiration tracking which can be seen via your compatible smartphone through the Garmin Connect app which provides you with a wealth of information right at our fingertips. This app helps you stay connected to your health needs, allows you to make adjustments on the fly and gives you the ability to share your stats and data with friends. Vital health data can be customized in the order you want to see it, when you want to see it whether it’s weekly, monthly, or yearly averages that need to be viewed.
